The story of Santiago and Joaquin

Virginia Tech Burn began their trek to Florida on Thursday morning. Two vans (Van Rick and Van Morty) were used to transport the boys. The team gathered at the U-house and left at approximately 10 am, arriving to our hotels in Plant City, Florida at around 11 pm.

Friday - Burn flew their way to a 3-0 start by cruising by FSU and Oklahoma. When it was time to face Northeastern ("Burn's toughest challenge yet" - Ultiworld), we pulled out our secret weapon, a gas tank filled with gasoline to fuel our players. We burned Northeastern down, salted their fields, and took their treasures; beating them 13 - 3.

Saturday - We faced our first "ranked" team, University of Michigan Magnum. They came out with the most useless poachy thing ever and both our O and D line simply threw arounds and hucked our way to a 7 - 1 half. We started to give our guys some playing time and ended the game 13 - 8. Harvard came next and they were honestly a lot of fun. We didn't start out great and were down 10 - 8. Cup of Legends came out and ended the game 12 - 11. We were now 6 - 0 and made it to quarters. We played LSU that night at 7 pm prime time under the lights. We rolled through them with a 15 - 6 win.

Sunday - Made it to the semifinals against Brown University. This was one of our toughest game of the weekend. A lot of tradings, few breaks, and we lost 12 - 15. Onto the 3rd place match against Minnesota. A lot of tradings, few breaks, and we lost 11 - 15. We got a lot of work to do. See y'all at Easterns on March 31st!
